Hamon was such a good system, It was better when they were built like greek gods. I'd at least feel better if they reimplemented hamon and integrated it within the stands. Also I miss the physiques bc when I'm in the gym it's silly but I think of that kind of stuff lol Like Baki Jonathon Joseph Jotaro Alex Louis Armstrong , etc

Hamon was great and im sad it was left behind, however, part 7 and 8 have some cool hints towards a similar idea with The Spin. Shame that part 7 and 8 didn't go back to the brick shithouse art style, it would have been hilarious. Part 7 and especially 8 is fucking beautiful still, I'm glad Araki found a style he loves, but I do miss the largeness of the early parts.

I think Araki at least considered it, at the start of part 3 stands were still linked to breathing. He really makes this shit up as he goes along, doesn't he?

Also, hamon as a battle system peaked at Zeppeli punching that frog.

If this is about part 6, that's not exactly what happens and most people just do not understand the ending at all.

That is a vastly wrong interpretation of what happened. Most people just go into part 6 not wanting to read it, so they try to read as fast as possible and end up missing most of what is actually going on. Seeing as you already have an understanding of the universal reset, I'll explain, but it's all spoilers from here. Father Pucci is continuing what DIO was saying about human lives being lived to escape anxiety, and going further to say anxiety comes from not knowing our destiny. Using Made In Heaven, he accelerates time over the universe so that the end of the universe is reached, but he keeps humans at a slower perception of time so that their consciousness will survive. He then drags those consciousnesses into the new universe which is formed when the old universe ends. People at first are forced to follow the same paths they walked in the original universe, but then Emporio kills Pucci. Time continues accelerating until this universe too is ended and restarts. Emporio is outside of the effects of Made In Heaven, so he remembers both past universes, but no one else does. Because Pucci died while accelerating time, he does not exist in the new universe. So, all the main characters are living the lives they would have without the traumas he inflicted on them. It's said that the characters we knew are dead, but their fight against Pucci was not in vain and they managed to make their own happy lives against the destiny he would make for them. Steel Ball Run is not set in this universe, but a completely different one.

The reset button that affects SBR and Jojolion has absolutely nothing to do with part 6. Araki had said all he wanted to say abut the conflict between DIO and Jonathan going through their descendants and followers, and decided to tell a different universe's story. Feel free to wait for it to be animated.

Hamon was a better system than the stands ever were or will be, but the logical endpoint was turning into Dragon Ball with music references. Let Jojo be the silly bullshit that it continues to be. I do maintain that part 5 is the best part to be animated so far though.

Part 5 is medium in terms of canon but the fanfic possibilities are staggering
