The new tactic is the same as the old tactic; try to start struggle session to sow discord and disgruntle people into leaving while making it seem like an unwelcoming place for new users.
It's kind of tired at this point, I don't know why people keep falling for it
If a post gets too much interaction and starts creating discussion and socializing it should be quarantined to reduce user engagement
