      It will be interesting to see how the US/OAS responds. With Venezuela they were able to latch on to some inconsequential voting issues. In Bolivia the fig leaf was Evo running for another term. But if Jadue wins in Chile... I actually think it will be difficult for them to come up with something. My hunch is they'll say Jadue is allied with Cuba and Maduro for nefarious reasons and that will be the rationale for sanctions.

        So back when the scottish ref was going on, one international observer criticised the size of one of the counting rooms as they believed the echoes might put off the counters. It's a fair point, certainly something that you'd hope would be acted on but very few people would claim it as basis for declaring the vote null and void.

        I reckon whatever party gets the most support from the CIA will pick up on something like that to declare the whole thing illegitamate.

      I think the more towards latter, but that would still make him the best viable candidate
