Anyone clever made 10 accounts when the site opened and has been aging them this whole time so their complaints come off as organic.
Yeah those are the clever ones, but there's also a LOT of not clever ones out there.
I am actually annoyed and I don't understand why this was handled this way.
When lemmy.ml decided to rename to lemmygrad, they made it a small community event where they took input and art from active members for week then put it to a vote - which is why I submitted a sketch and suggestion for redbea.ar thinking this was going to be similar.
I'm new but I love the mods as I do all comrades.
If you change the name, it just makes mine more of an inside joke that no one who comes after me will ever get.
Either way I will remain the Chapo of Chapo.
I am concerned about the state of the site, it should be backed up on a solid state drive.
