Like how the fuck would that even work, millions of people drink milk every day, there was never any chance that people were going to try and "cancel milk" like they would with a hand signal that identifies someone as a fascist.
Their problem is that they believe their own propaganda. They don't portray their opponents as mindless "NPCs" as a political strategy, they legitmately believe that they are the only human beings capable of rational thought (heh), so they repeatedly misunderstand and underestimate the opposition.
