I don't think i can take somebody unironically using "Orthodox Texan Monarchy" as a flair serious enough to hate them. I guess people saw "know history" and just assumed that was a compliment?... They are just conservatives that are honest with themselves and submit totally to an authoritarian who has no claim other than tradition and birthright. They're the oldest and most traditional conservatives and are what most conservatives really are deep down if they were honest with themselves.
It's why simply convincing many conservatives off the truth about the rich won't be enough to change their behavior. We have to find some way to steer these people into a productive political participation instead of the feudalism-with-smartphones that they want now.
