I stim/fidget with my bracelet so much now I do the movements constantly even when I'm not even wearing it.
Chat I am so cooked.
Autism is awesome, actually
How did you learn to love it? I'm struggling a little bit.
I am still struggling with it at times with regulating, and it certainly is not easy. But connecting with my local queer community, and meeting so many fellow queer autistics has really affirmed to me that this is another way of going through the world that is beautiful in its own ways.

So honestly I've never been "treated" for autism so maybe I'm not understanding words properly or something too.
Of all the little repetitive stuff I do its not actually that bad, but I haven't worn a bracelet in years. Its not that little repetitive things are new to me, just this particular thing.
also its probably a little more obvious then some of the other thingsThank you though

Okay it still feels like something I wish I could change/at least deal with it better though. Also I just don't understand it that well.
Its because I started wearing bracelets! I loved bracelets but stopped wearing them because apparently "that's something girls do". And now here we are, being a girl.
See here what sneak100 is saying, stimming is fine, autism is cool It's all good actually, y'know!
I think it's worth it to remember that allistic people stim too, they probably just don't know it. I doubt there's a single person out there who's never bounced their leg or twirled their hair or something. Maybe try to get some stim toys if you're worried about damaging your bracelet or anything.
