Flexed my arms in the mirror and realized my biceps are basically gone and I have squishy noodle arms now. First physical change in my transition I've had conflicting feelings about, but I think I mostly like it?

Yeah, I don’t even care about looking strong, but being strong - not sure if I’m ready to lose that.

I kept lifting to keep my biceps even when they look squishy when not flexing.

I couldn't imagine not being able to lift a decent amount, I help my wife a lot to ease her burdens or to help her on a bad day. It's also funny when people don't realise just how strong you are.

I do kinda miss lifting, but I stopped when I started E because going to the gym is scary now.

Could always get a small set of dumbells for at home.

I'd actually recommend that for anyone who wanted to keep some strength and for toning

I have some very light dumbbells, but if I had one kettlebell or something that was at least 20-30 kg I feel like I could do a lot of resistance excercises with just that. Just need to get a friend with a car to help me bring it home because I'm not carrying that.

Sounds like a solid plan. I build muscle easy so I have to be wary but like I can bench press my wife lol

Sounds like a cute relationship cat-trans Building muscle was difficult for me mostly because I have a really bad appetite and had to force myself to eat enough. I had finally gotten pretty strong, then I started transitioning and stopped making myself eat as much and also stopped lifting, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised this happened.

Awwh thank you for saying cat-trans I had to learn to eat more than one meal a day lol. But because of my genetics and size I can bulk up easy.

I think just working on building some strength back up you'll enjoy that without a lot of the stress
