Musk is moving forward from killing monkeys to killing people.

Neuralink said in a blog post that it was looking for people who had paralysis in all four limbs because of a spinal-cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

Hey business insider you really buried the lede there. The opening makes it seem like they’re just talking about bazinga brained morons

I think if I'd lost the use of 90% of my body I'd be extra protective of the 10% that still works and not eager to let melon-musk sloppily jam some dangerous shit in there

      They're still bazinga brains

Honestly, I think being trapped in your body might be a motivating factor to try anything.

Could you imagine if it worked? And it was the human instrumentality project made up of bazinga-brained redditors? What a wondrous and grotesque being would be born. I cannot imagine a more fitting ending for this accursed species

Don't worry, the 40 year olds getting this chip will be near the end of their life spans so if they die it will be from natural causes.

We can't blow up the first three. That's not an option here

We will blow up the first 3 million like that scene in Kingsmen melon-musk

Then company goes under or deems your implant non-profitable and stops supporting it and now your brain implant software doesn't work. That's already a thing with other medical devices.

Is this a eugenics thing? Like I'm sure some of his supporters actually believe his genes are important for humanity and need to be passed on. I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few of his fans would think a crisis killing millions of people would be great because we could repopulate with billionaire DNA, who obviously have the -b e s t- genes.

I have to struggle to not feel liberal emotions about the worst reddit brained people on earth linking up to have their brains literally melted for a change.

It’s so wild to me how an endeavor like this (if it even actually becomes a thing) is in the hands of the private industry instead of, idk, fucking brain surgeons
