-- Ernesto Che Guevara :che-smile:

Revolucionario cubano (La Habana, 1932 - ?, 1959).

:fidel-sarcastic: aqui gringo

Men like Camilo Cienfuegos emerged from the town and lived for the town. Our only compensation for the loss of a comrade so close to us is knowing that the people of Cuba produce men like him. Camilo lives and will live in the town

  • Fidel Castro: fidel-salute:

Camilo was the companion of a hundred battles, Fidel's trusted man in the difficult moments of the war and the devoted fighter who always made sacrifice an instrument to temper his character and forge that of the troops ... Camilo was Camilo, Sir of the vanguard, complete guerrilla who prevailed for that war with color that he knew how to do

  • Ernesto Che Guevara: che-smile:

Cuban revolutionary (Havana, 1932 -? 1959). Coming from a wealthy Spanish family, since 1954 he was part of university groups opposed to the Batista regime. He was booked by the political police and had to emigrate to the United States and then to Mexico, where he joined the revolutionary group organized by Fidel Castro.

Fidel Castro's partner and collaborator, he accompanied him on the Granma trip, which led them both to disembark in Cuba in 1956 to establish a guerrilla focus in the east of the island. During the final offensive against the Fulgencio Batista dictatorship, Cienfuegos led the so-called "Antonio Maceo Column," which was the first insurgent unit to leave the Sierra Maestra refuge. In union with Che Guevara, he fought the decisive battle to take Santa Clara (1958), after which the road to Havana was cleared, where they entered triumphantly on January 2, 1959.

However, Camilo Cienfuegos could not see the fruits of the Revolution for which he had fought so hard, since he died in a plane accident that same year. His services are required to organize the revolutionary forces of Camagüey, and on October 28, 1959, on his return to Havana, the plane in which he was traveling disappeared, of which no trace would ever be found.

I don't get why Cthulhu is thought of as a legendary horror monster. In the book it wakes up to destroy the world, gets hit on the head by a boat, and goes "fuck this, I'm going back to sleep." How can something so relatable be scary?

We are capable of just as much power destruction , but are easily discouraged. Cthulu is the proletariat

Thousands are dying by the minute in India as we speak.

The US is responsible for this genocide with their stupid fucking patent laws

Why would India say yes to China? I wouldn’t trust China either if I were India.

*Not being anti-China just saying these are two neighboring, hostile nations with opposite interests as far as geopolitics goes.

That's kind of a ridiculous line of logic though, these two countries have been in border disputes for decades. And does being the largest trading partner make the US any more trusting of China?

I am bored as fuck and flipping between the same three tabs in the hope something interesting will pop up but it never does. I am bored but I do not feel like doing anything and nothing feels fun. This every single day of my life from now on.

As I enter my thirties I'm slowly getting really into post punk and goth and it's gradually replacing the crust and dbeat that was my bread and butter. I just want sad people with synths now.

The Chapo ep. this week is actually really good. Super interesting interview about the pigs forming literal gangs within the department. Once again: :acab:

I could hear a kitty crying in distress outside my window, and my cat heard it too, so I went out to look for like an hour and couldn't find it - too much traffic to pinpoint wherever the poor bugger was crying from, not safe to poke around in the bushes across the street with all the cars :angery:

stopped hearing it crying eventually, hope it stopped because it got somewhere safe, but keeping an ear out just in case :/

Depression you will not beat me! I'm gonna get up eat breakfast rn and do what I love which is post and play games.

I lost a day to it and been doing nothing all day but face my demons while stewing in self hatred. No more, rise up everyone. Don't let sadness and despair win. Fight it! Even if it seems hopeless keep fighting.

We are and have always been underdogs. We fight and as long as we keep fighting there is a chance that we can win. The sure fire way we lose is by giving up.

I'm gonna go eat now and aggressively take care of myself. I'll be back comrades.
