For reference, the discussion he's talking about took place one week after inauguration.

Yeah, if Biden successfully abolishes class society and ends the exploitation of labor by capital, that would be a pretty thorough refutation of revolutionary communism. Can't wait for him to get started on that.

Modern Tankies are basically kulaks simping for people who would gladly put them up against the wall at the first oppertunity.

So many brainworms in that thread, do not recommend.

Yeah... I'm super afraid that Biden's handlers is going to solve s lot of problems and make a lot of people's lives better. I'm losing sleep over it God damn it!

My worldview would be totally annihilated if Biden's handlers pass milquetoast succdem stuff like 15$ minimum wage, and one-time 2000$ stimulus cheques. It would show that the institutions of the bourgeois state work and totally validate imperialism.

"institutions work when those involved are operating in good faith"

    GOOD FAITH NEOLIBERALISM

This is a part where I really can't decipher how this is supposed to be good. Like, is vulnerability to bad faith participants (both in terms of infiltration by and ability to do damage when in position) not indicative of some sort of flaws? One would think that a good system would stop bad faith participants from getting into power, or from effectively using it once they are in power.

I remember some point in the past where I saw an upvoted comment there where a socialist was lamenting how frustrating gamers are, since they are so close to class consciousness and should be prime radicalization material when it comes to exploitation of developers and how companies are nickel and diming to keep profits up, but they are just completely opposed to making the final step. I don't know what happened between then and now, but it used to be okay in some respects.

And when Trump wins reelection in 2024, they're going to be caught flat-footed again and be like "BUT BIDEN BEAT HIM"

It's gonna come as even more of a surprise to them than 2016. "But but Biden got so much done!"

If Biden succeeds, then it proves their glorious revolution was never necessary

Completely ignoring imperialism. Even if Biden built a massive welfare state in the US (which he isn't), the "tankies" would still be right
