        Sara June, one of the founders, was the person who uploaded the original video, and so already had the channel, although the song and the animation were created independently by others. I don't know if they actually made much money off of it, but presumably it did provide a boost in initial engagement.

    So far I've only really watched their weekly news program, but I'll gladly pay. Hopefully their Roku interface is better than the regular browser one, I plan on getting a used Roku just for means.tv on my television

    There was nothing particularly “left” about the MEANS g*ming streams I watched. Some other content was OK though.
