The anti kink thing was always about this. They want to kick us out of our own fucking protest. It draws on the same 60+ year old arguments about us being pedos and corrupting children. This is my first time seeing this discourse and it is insane how crazy it's gotten. I've seen socialists accuse others of being pedos because they won't think of the children. Like not every event is going to be kid friendly.
But Socialism is when everything is Social. So everything should be safe for children.
Like there are legit concerns because I know some queer people who are uncomfortable with kink stuff at pride (for personal reasons and not because they think it's wrong) and there's definitely room for conversation and making pride more accommodating.
That being said, the only debates we should have with reactionaries is one where we point guns at them.
