I am so corrupted by the internet, when I saw the orange GBA, at first I thought it was filled with beans.

The only annoying thing is the English translation is unofficial so its a little hard to find a version someones flashed to a cart sometimes.

It never had a western release so that one is Roms or nothing. If you can get a translated ROM flashed to a cartridge it is actually a better experience, the battle system has a bit of a rhythm element to deal extra damage and most emulators have a hard time syncing the input to music as precisely as can be needed.

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls was a decent remake, and may be my favorite version of FF1.

Also seconding Golden Sun (get both; the first one is only half of the damn game) and Zelda: The Minish Cap. @Tingle may or may not shame you for collecting kinkstones, though.

Minish Cap is the most underrated Zelda Title, Pokemon Pinball for the Color and the Advanced are great time wasters.

Mega Man Zero 1-4, Wario Land 4 (and 3 if you can find GBC games), Mario Kart Super Circuit, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, I can't remember if Minish Cap was on there or if that was a DS game. Tactics Ogre.

I haven't played them but I've heard good things about the Mega Man Battle Network series.

All of the SNES mario all-stars, yoshi, and donkey kong games have solid ports.

Minish Cap was GBA! Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were the two DS games.

Semi-related, but can anyone vouch for the Switch remake of Link's Awakening?

It's very very much not worth the price of admission. It's a gameboy game with updated graphics. Play 3D Dot Game Hero instead.

Mother 1&2 collection in case you're curious about other games in the series.

The Sonic Advance series can be fun.

    Kirby and the Amazing Mirror

Game and Watch Gallery 4 is good for quick, repetitive games

So I'm assuming that you have to load the ROMs yourself with that thing, is there a USB port on the cart with which to do that?

The Everdrives have an SD card slot to store ROMs and OS versions.
