Dunno where else to put this, but since it's askchapo I guess I gotta ask something: anyone experience anything somewhat similar?
I was running around this building desperately trying to find a specific room because I was late for something, as a giant pigeon dropped blue shit on me while certain family members chased me while yelling about what a horrible person I am.
Woke up at like 3 shaking with chills and had a sleep paralysis episode as well :)
Went back to sleep and still woke up extremely confused and disoriented far earlier than I usually do, the light filtering through the curtains made everything look yellow, and for a few minutes it felt like I had died and this was the afterlife. For the rest of the morning I had this sensation of something being off about... everything. Also had a pounding headache.
Weird shit
2nd shot fucked me up good. It was like a 24 hour thing and I ended up feeling pretty damn good after it passed (it’s nice to be reminded that i can physically feel like shit, but very rarely do).
But yeah I woke up confused as hell at like 4:30am. In the previous days I’d read Cesaire’s Discourse on Colonialism and played a lot of an island-survival game so territory and colonialism were on my mind.
The one thing I remember from my 5am fugue state was announcing to my girlfriend that “Euro-America will never be absolved of its crimes”
This doesn't really have anything to do with the vaccine. I haven't had a chance to get mine because work is a never-ending nightmare but holy shit fever dreams are one of my favorite things. They are always so intense. I specifically remember one where these giant fish called dipsticks (they looked like giant dipstick candies but black and oily like a cartoon whale) would breach straight up out of the water and then slam onto the water with a loud slap. I'd always get a little too close to the lake and get dizzy and start rolling into the water and my friends wouldn't help me when I'd reached out for them so the fish would eat me and then I'd wake up. I would read a book of people describing fever dreams.
Yeah tbh there is something :comfy: about having a fever (as long as you don't have to do shit and the fever's not that bad). Makes me want to lay down, snooze, watch TV, and eat popsicles. Fond memories of staying home from school and Mom would bring you meals because you're feeling sick.
I've heard it's common to experience that, my second shot didn't do shit to me except make me better at csgo
I had a some pretty bad fever/chills from my second dose (not the worse I've had) once my first dose of tylenol wore off. My initial fever dream was about my body being a nuclear reactor, as I was watching Chernobyl with my SO and playing a lot of factorio. I had to shunt the heat and energy to the different parts of my body, it was probably my most metatextual dream I've ever had, and most of the time my fever dreams are consistent and similar.
Take your tylenol as a regimen with your vaccines, it helps a lot.
Ngl little scared now, gonna have my 2nd shot on sunday and idk will keep updated in case if I have any dreams like this.
Almost all of my relatives who've gotten theirs have had side effects leaning towards the more severe side, but I've also got a friend who didn't experience anything like this. I guess it could have something to do with genetics? I don't wanna frighten anyone with a sample size of like 5
I think I'm gonna be okay, I heard body size has something to do with it. Smaller people get hit harder while heftier people seem fine or something. I'm a big boy.
I had the actual disease and for some reason the first dose was the one that clobbered me. No fever dreams, just woke up at 5am with a fever and then was fine by the next day. Second dose didn't do anything at all.
Yeah, my guess was that it's not the second vaccine dose, it's the second immune response. Asked the people when I went for my second shot and they said other people have mentioned it.
Nobody else in my family had covid or reactions to the first dose, and only half of them got knocked out by the second dose. Fun stuff.
My uncle had covid and the first dose made him feel really really weird. I think it might be because he already had an immune response.
I had a fever that lasted about 24 hours, but no dreams that I remember
