The Confederate flag is a boring-ass fucking flag. It's lame. It sucks. There is no "cool design". Nazis did nothing but steal a symbol that was millennia old and put it on a red background.

Also, surprise surprise, but that thread is full of people whining about the updated pride flag and saying queer POC should stop asking for recognition.

I'm sure the guy with the Stonetoss pic really just likes the Nazi flag for its aethetics and no other reason whatsoever.

The flag of Venezuala is probably my favorite because it has the colors of a big tropical parrot, and that kind of vibrancy is really a sip of fresh water amid the stale self-seriousness of so many other flags.

I too am very sad that Nazis are not flying the Nazi flag and that they are instead appropriating the proto-nazi flag, thereby making people think that I'm a Nazi for flying it and not a cool epic traditionalist.

I’m disappointed that no one talks about the Kazakhstan flag, despite it being one of the most objectively beautiful flags in all of human history.

I generally prefer African flags. Look up Central African Republic, Mauritius, and Seychelles, and Comoros

What updated Pride flag? The new Pride Progress flag that includes a little triangle with the circle from the Intersex flag?

That flag is looking a little crowded, going to be getting into some real family crest type business if it keeps getting added to.

I totally agree. The rainbow flag is a simple and memorable design that works exactly because the vagueness of the symbolism allows every LGBT group to be included. Once you start adding symbols for specific groups you not only ruin the simplicity and clarity of the original design, you also open up to the question as to why the next group isn't included which leads you to add something to represent them as well, thereby starting a vicious circle resulting in a visual cluster fuck that tries to be everything at the same time.

I'm part of a group represented in The Intersectionality Dorito and I think its absolutely goofy and hideous looking. It's literally lliberal virtue signaling. Like, "how woke can I be while minimizing the amount of lawn/window real estate it takes up." Most of the people flying this flag will probably have mad fucked up opinions about intersex people, and throwing them on the dorito isn't gonna change that.

It doesnt make me Mad, but it is fucking goofy looking

Plus having multiple flags is cooler anyway. Regular pride flag, trans flag, pan-African flag, Intersex flag, etc.

              Just load up on flags.

It's more about including groups that have traditionally been poorly represented and accepted than it is about making an aesthetically pleasing flag. The chevrons are meant to represent progress going forward and including those groups that have been largely pushed to the wayside by mainstream society as well as by those that are more accepted.

I actually like it, it's crazy colorful and is its own thing, not "just" a rainbow

The normal swastika is basically everywhere in India (other Asian countries as well). It existed long before Nazis

but I doubt the Stonetoss guy is trying to appreciate Hindu/Buddhist symbols

the CSA had shit flags. The best they had was the Blood Stained banner. I assume they mean the Naval jack is good.

closest I've come to having this take was saying the KMT flag was good, in context of all Chinese flags having been very strong (Azure Dragon, 5 races, KMT, 5 star)
