I’ve seen calls from some people that BLM needs to be replaced as a slogan/rally cry with something more explicitly revolutionary to prevent this kind of co-opting. At this point it’s been almost totally captured by the libs.

I feel so lucky to live where I live. Our local chapter hasn’t commented on it but just continues to publicly humiliate and harass our horrible mayor.
Wait are we acting surprised that "radical" movements like BLM have been coopted by libs in order to quell their more "radical" facets and attempt to handcuff them? Just want to point out that the Movement for Black Lives has a much more coherent, consistent platform including the explicit endorsement of BDS, despite Lib criticism and accusations of anti-Semitism. I haven't been able to find any recent statements from them on Kopmala, and hope they continue stick to their principles and don't fold under pressure.

I don’t know. I remember there being some complaints about how the “black lives matter” charity / NGO wasn’t working with the original organizers who came up with the idea of BLM. If I were to guess this insta would be involved with said charity.
