Chia hasn't really had that kind of effect, I'm not saying it's not bad but the chip shortage due to droughts in Taiwan has had a much greater effect.
Where I live it was exactly that, you could see launch date and spike in prices :sadness:

For a multilevelmarketing scheme to function, it needs a lot of people investing real money in it, when a lot of people stop and sell their assets in the MLM, it crashes.
