They are complaining because a spaceship named Slave-1 (which is extremely famous and important as we all know) has been renamed for a LEGO kit as "Boba Fett spaceship".

Which is obviously SJW censorship and not simply a maerketing play because the name Boba Fett is more famous than "random ship-number".

It's a marketing ploy to get chuds to buy them so they can destroy them on camera.

Fuck, I would love seeing a chud unpack the thing only to realize he will have to assemble it so anyone understands what he fuck he is even trying to do.

And then once it's assemble,d he smashes it on the ground and then slowly the realization creeps in that he basically destroyed nothing, because building it is most of the fun.

:what-the-hell: it doesn’t even have a name in the movies

The chuds getting worked up about this definitely do have bigger problems in life. It's just that it's much easier for them to ignore them for a brief moment and redirect their anger to manufactured outcries about name changes on lego boxes.

I always hated the design of that ship, it look so uncomfortable to ride in, how would artificial gravity even work in somethin like that, are there ladders or stairs that take you from the engine to the bridge? Imagine climbing ladders in space wtf

I liked star wars, and I forgot that, so it’s always been Boba Fetts ship. Fucking nerds

Dont think they mentioned it in the movies.

No ones reading the novels or comic books, so it’s really not a big deal.

I don't remember learning it was called the Slave 1 but I've known forever.

Its a pretty sinister name for a bounty hunter's ship and I don't think it really endorses slavery.

But also, why give a fuck, its a lego set.

Also, i think it dates back to the of trilogy, so it’s been retconned or had some new paint over it

You're right, they didn't. I know it from playing the Lego Star wars games I think, or maybe just being a boba fanboy as a kid so I had to know everything about him.

I think that's the only reason I know what it's called. I somehow never saw that edit with the acapella version and I've been a fan since like 2007

I remember being a kid when the prequel movies came out and doing a double-take when I heard the Slave 1 ship toy being advertised. I didn't get the best education growing up, but I remember it felt off to hear the term used outside the context of US slavery.
