No one has created a map, so I made one.
Bummed that Vietnam and Pakistan decided to sit out on this one.
Vietnam is very unlikely to do anything that can be construed as being too toward the side of China or USA. That's been their stance on foreign matter for a long while.
There was that joint statement recently where Vietnam and China said they'd start playing ball a few weeks ago. We'll see where that goes.
I doubt things gonna change much, with both sides showing no sign of giving up on the South China Sea issue. Vietnam need to be friendly to the US as a deterrent against China's advance on the region.
That's fair. I don't know shit about fuck when it comes to International Relations. I really did just in one ear and out the other that shit just well enough to pass the two IR courses I had to take.
There may be hope for them joining in the future? I don't see why they wouldn't.
Yeah, its probably just some diplomacy stuff thats going on. Way above my paygrade
Hope this alliance expands, if America wants a cold war they better be prepared for one
This time the west is so much weaker than it was and China has grown so much... I can't help but wonder what will happen.
Lots of opportunity here. An anti-imperialist alliance in Latin America backed up by Russia and China would be exciting
Plus, the once-monolithic support of capitalism and imperialism in mainstream American politics is starting to crack and -- bonus points -- we're coming out of back-to-back failed imperial wars. Domestic opposition to a second Cold War is arguably a lot more significant than domestic opposition was to the first one.
we’re coming out of back-to-back failed imperial wars.
No no no. We just didn't commit enough genocide. Next time we'll really take the gloves off and win.

Didn't know all these countries were Quakers
What's the situation with Mongolia anyway? They're always colored as a certified good guy on The Same Map Every Time so I assume they're boug-approved.
Fun Fact: These countries account for about 1/4 of the world's population.
i always wonder what backroom talks between china and north korea look like. like, does china beg them to open up?
