Why the fuck is gen z so mad at millennials. Culture has been stagnate for 25 years. We're the same fucking people.
We're brainwashed by media representations of the generational divide.
If it's Gen Z that finally breaks the chains of global capitalism, then as far as I'm concerned they can insult us millennials forever
I'm gen z and I prefer our generation but we shouldn't pretend millennials are that different
The only difference is age. Some of you will turn into HP obsessed PMC dorks too. I'm watching them transform in real time at my company. I've only been able to radicalize one so far.
I’m millennial and I prefer your generation too.
Our generation made Nazis cool again. We really dropped the ball on that one.
millennials grew up with shit forums and 56k internet, we couldn't use gifs for most of our posting lives. Sorry we're using them now that we have the bandwidth. It's like the Great Depression survivors hoarding food n shit, we hoard gifs
You got busy and replaced that shit with animated sparkles and midi, right?
shit forums
I think you mean best forums
56k internet
based lack of "multitasking", cellular overexcitation, and dopamine burnout. Although the downside is you can't organize protests.
What’s with the millennial hate, we’re too broke to do bad things
I suppose. I’m one of the younger millennials close to the genz cutoff, I think it’s really just collective american stupidity across generations that made things this bad
I was going to say that generalising generation by it's worst elements is how the whole thing works, but I don't actually remember millenials hating gen x.
If you're not posting Tik Tok WAP videos remixed as a mash-up with Atonal seralist compositions as throwaway points you're basically a boomer now.
Mostly cause they look different on every device, you know what you're getting with emoticons
what if the only gifs i use are twitch emotes? does that make me a true expert in dialectics?
It was too hot to provide electricity to all of California twice this weekend and a hurricane destroyed a third of the crops in Iowa and a shitload of infrastructure. You underestimate how rapidly things are about to accelerate.
I'm not saying that things aren't going to accelerate, it's just silly to say that things are going to get too hot. That's not true globally, and it's a myth of global warming. That's all I'm saying.
It may not be every day but in many places for growing parts of the year it will be. Especially in the global south where it's already getting bad. Yes it will cause a diverse range of extreme climate events like the hurricane in Iowa, but overall the biggest thing is going to be worsening heatwaves in already warm climates.
