No you should not. If someone wanted to kill you and had the means to do it, the last thing they'd do was warn you. It's a just a way for internet losers to try and exert power via empty intimidation.

Realistically, I don't think anything will come of either of these.
I wouldn't think much of the first one and the second is something I would only be concerned about if there continue to be threats and your address (be it your home or place of work) are able to be easily found.
