he's just going back to where he was before trump, which was a right-wing libertarian. As we all know, these types of libertarians are able to identify what is going on, but misidentify the root-cause.

it's just theory lacking. honestly if garrison got the correct "reading material "20 years ago he'd probably be alright.

Right wingers are closer to knowing what the problem is than libs but they have very wrong and terrifying solutions.

they've broken out of the mainstream media narrative, but are still listening to their pro-capital conditioning.

idk i may have been too generous on right libertarians. they suck hard, but there does feel like a "missed opportunity" kind of situation with them.

You made me google the Lego thing: its because the FBI seized a lego-made capitol building from one of the so-called Jan 6th ‘insurrectionists.’

Far left and right ideology really does have some central themes: a large distrust of the government and corporations actively working against the interests of the masses for the benefit of the select few at the top.

I'm assuming a big difference between falling to the left or right is a belief in magical thinking; the right is way more incubated with Christian white nationalism as the basis of "reality", which is why they fall into blursed cultish conclusions.

Also, many of them are old ass boomers who just discovered conspiracy theory internet and chain email where you have to scroll to the bottom or your wish won't come true.

I hear ya, but sus that US military not part of fourth (or fifth) branch of government

It means the unelected government, what's variously called The Blob (Obama's people), the Deep State (Trump's people) or the administrative state (everyone else). None of them are subject to the other branches of government. As we saw under Obama, they straight up give orders. As we saw under Trump, they will straight up disobey orders they don't agree with, and lie to the president. After the legislative branch passed a law forbidding them to spy on us, they broke the law, lied about it under oath to Congress and nobody went to prison.

With their man the senile Biden in, they now fully control the US government. You're never getting your pre-virus freedoms back. They will fight before they give an inch.

That's not a power they've gained, nor a freedom we've lost. They always had those powers and exercised them. or did you enjoy the right of public nudity before the pandemic? Maybe you wore gang colors and the cops just let you go on by. Let's actually talk like adults, I left my house whenever I felt like it during the lockdown, because in america basically no legal action was taken when you did that. I could go anywhere that was open and do whatever the business there allowed, often not even requiring a mask.

I don;t like this, I'm just letting you know it isn't new, and you'd have to be pretty privileged to think it wasn't. What we lost wasn't rights during the pandemic, we lost lives, we lost houses, and we lost some more of the sense of community in america, tiny as it already was.

I bet he dislikes all those alphabet agencies for all the wrong reasons. Something tells me he isn't exactly bothered by the CIA destroying socialist countries in south america, for example. It's more like "THE CIA AND FBI WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN STEALING DADDY TRUMPS WIN!"

If you label the entire tree as Capital, then you get closer to being accurate. At the end of the day, the alphabet agencies might overstep their stated missions, but they rarely waver from the unstated mission of securing and protecting capital's interests.

Not too sure on all of it, but red shoes mean that a child is in danger and the q logo is red. Part of the trump using red and being the supposed savior might also contribute.

This is nitpicky but it's also a bit inaccurate to portray all those alphabet agencies as harmful to the american people represented by an upper class suburban home, when the american people that do have something to fear from those institutions are the poor and the marginalized. Of course another thing is that there's no mention that this 4th branch of government is also responsible for carrying out imperialism, I don't know if I've ever met anti-imperialist right libertarians and it looks like Ben isn't an exception.

Theoretically right-libertarianism is against imperialism because it's government intervention.

        Theoretically.

It's just not something that ever really gets on their radar. The left sprays it everywhere, and if you say you're anti-imperialist, the stink gets on you, too. Honestly the left would be better served to be less insane and screamy, but I don't see that happening.
