    By "supply chain collapse" does he mean "multiple shipments of sex arses may be delayed", I wonder.

    I'm also forced to wonder if the solution he's offering — increasing the labour supply — could possibly be related to some sort of profit motive...?

      The UK imports 50% of its food, mostly by land...so, it's not great.

    Isn't there enough rail (or canals, lol) in the UK to handle most of the supply chain?

    I know trucks (lorries) need to do the last-mile delivery, but modern supply chains don't use trains for anything except freight, so those trucks are driving across the country/continent, rather than across town (from the nearest rail depot).
