Personally I think it's a little weird that he'd say that "the buck stops with me," now, but last week he was saying that he had to abide by the general draw down plans made in the Trump Admin, which I'd say is a passing of the buck.
I think that's how we'll see liberal interventionists cope. Biden will be simultaneously credited as the president who closed this exhausting and sordid chapter of American history, but he only did it because "Drumpf drew down troops in Afghanistan will trying to make peace with the Taliban on 9/11 at Camp David!"
