    You may start to believe that the war you fought in was entirely pointless and only to the benefit of military contractors. This is normal

      I had a roommate that went through basic.

      He told me that what happens, is you're assigned a "battle buddy" and you are supposed to keep track of each other like you're a second grader on a field trip.

      I know exactly what you are talking about. a) I wonder how many hexbears get it b) I’m also not thrilled I get it. I’m gettin’ too old for this shit…

      spoiler

      [Danny Glover tiredly wagged his head in a mocking “no” motion. A sigh is felt… not heard, not said. A sigh that conveys the essence of ‘is kinda bummed about being heavily associated with a vociferous antisemite’}

              are you serious? seems like that'd be a problem for the typical enlistee. what if they just don't have the money

                OH... I know the answer to this one, your ID card in basic works like a debit card. You can buy stuff from a PX before you've gotten your first paycheck. Then, when your pay drops into your bank account, what you owe at the PX is taken out first.

    You may be asking yourself "was I a pawn of imperialism?" to which the answer was "yes" but it's okay! Reach out to a friend or a loved one when you begin experiencing existential dread.

      Someone on here just the other day was saying that American troops were too reactionary as a whole to bother with radicalizing. I don't agree, I'm not here to defend them but I think we very much can and must reach a lot of them.

        Yeah, so long as the imperialist machine keeps cranking we could always use more Prysners

        You know, this post is pretty funny if you take the last sentence as a call to organize 👀

          Talk with your friends and families, reach out to battle buddies, connect with a peer-to-peer network, move to a fortified compound in a strategically defensible location, wage a protracted people's war to overthrow your imperial oppressors.

    No it was not worth it, if you're a veteran you should be agitating to end imperialism and convince younger people to do something better with their lives
