Lmao @ all the malding gamers here crying about how "cruel" it is to tell children to touch grass
I mean video games aren't going anywhere. This one hyper-specific law that only applies to children in one single country isn't going to change that.
It's only the single biggest youth market in the world. What impact could this possibly have on industry profits?
I don't see anyone disagreeing, video games are a waste of time and children and adults should not play them.
If fallout new vegas is so good why did it have micro transactions that literally gave you a grenade launcher that broke the early game?
Good thing he's not in america that kid with the toy gun would get shot
The most online people alive tells random chinese kids to log off
I think maybe I'm getting old cause I'm very down with this especially if it leads to kids actually going out and playing. It's just better
I would say I'm fencesitting along the lines this is actually good and I'm a fucking hypocrite.
I didn't like when my oare ts kicked me off Vidya to go at outside at the time, but I got into so much more trouble than I would have otherwise and I think that's kinda what they wanted.
It is important for children to go outside and be a public nuisance. Builds character.
My parents legit were disappointed that I wasn't getting drunk, having sex, doing drugs, and getting Into trouble as a teen.
Will big devs FINALLY make singleplayer only games again? And without always online DRM?
This is literally every isometric RPG.
I'm playing Divinity 2 right now and loving it.
I'm generally against these kind of intrusions of government but it looks like they didn't do these restrictions on offline games online games usually have a specific toxic culture and if the parents aren't regulating it for one reason or another, why not have an outside body step in. It only applies to minors anyway.
