Whomst among us unwashed, unkempt nerds has not been heartbroken by a femoid after caving to its demands?
Lmao, when I think of all the shit my female friends do to conform to the male gaze this comic comes across as whiney as fuck.
I've never known someone who tells their boyfriend what to wear anyway? This reads more like someone more complaining about their mom than their girlfriend.
I’ve never known someone who tells their boyfriend what to wear anyway?
Yeah who would do something like that
What he wants is irrelevant. I buy the clothes, he doesn't know his own measurements. :hahaha:
Very classy good sir, enjoy yourself this updoot!
My tuxedo print t-shirt even has a bbq sauce stain on it, to show the ladies I am of a refined palate. :attlee-fedora:
whoever made this was never even in the first panel
No no no the way your supposed to do it is date women based solely on how attractive you find them without knowing what kind of person they are and then act surprised when they turn out to be almost as shallow as you.
And as we all know, women are the ones that want to change men and oppress them. Men never try to control womens bodies.
Unless they’re vintage and ironic. You will never take away my Garfield hat
This is serious :cringe:
What's the dude's personality like? Oh, but who cares about that, it's the shirt and haircut man! So whiny.
"She left me because i stopped yelling at her to make me chicken tendies. I just wasn't the same anymore, she couldn't love the omega soyboy she had turned me into. This is something that actually happens."
Honestly just reads a bit like "My high school girlfriend dumped me after we graduated because I no longer behaved/dressed like a high schooler".
Just... absolutely clueless on so many levels.
Also, I guarantee this leads to the guy trying to date high schoolers at the age of 30 :ancap-good:
:reddit-logo: moment!
Le m'ladies le are le dum le dums le and le they le have le cooties. le updoots le to le le le left
I'll shave and get haircuts no prob., but I'm wearing horror movie poster shirts til' the day I die, and you're gonna like it.
Love inventing a whole narrative to justify not changing even the most insignificant parts of myself to please the person I supposedly care about the most.
Turns out it takes effort not be a piece of shit under patriarchy. I think the most charitable reading of this comic is that guys will fail to assert themselves and then blame their partners when they end up depressed or unfulfilled. My dad knew he didn’t want any more kids after kid #2. 6 kids later, he finally left because he couldn’t take it. Dude should have spoken his mind decades earlier and if it was a deal breaker for my mom they should have separated. When someone people pleases to the point of making sacrifices that no one asked them to make, it’s hard to be sympathetic when they later act like martyrs.
I had to tell my old partner they were going to have to live with me getting some ill-fitting pants and eating some bad meals for a while because I was tired of just never being expected to do “womanly” things because I was male-passing. When I was really depressed I would lay in bed and go days without interacting with my kids and everyone was like “we figured you didn’t want to change diapers” as of that was just normal. Fuck that. If I have for forcibly remind people to hold me to proper standards I will because people are way too used to excusing men being pieces of shit
