One of my favorite relatives was a chemical engineer from the 60's till the 90's and one time when the chemical worker's union striked the company tried hiring scabs, and they told him he needed to go down there and help train them. Not wanting to die in a horrible chemical fire he told upper management to go fuck themselves, no one in his department would go inside a chemical plant run by scabs he said, and he refused to answer the phone. They folded shortly thereafter.
I mean narcos stopped filming because someone was killed location scouting or something like that. Although that was pre production so the sunk cost wasn't as looming.

That's why now they just make the engineers be the scabs instead of training scabs.
industrial capital can never learn from its mistakes when there's a bottom line to protect
If it keeps generating profit it doesn’t need to be handled as a mistake :porky-happy:
:doomjak:
edit: this movie's gonna gross so much more than it would have otherwise, isn't it?
"we decided to leave in the shot where that fateful accident occurred to honor the life of halyna and the work that she put into this film"
i dont see this movie being continued in all honesty
possibly, but hollywood also loves a "show must go on" story
