I wish I had hasan's platform so I could shout at leftists from the rooftop about how it's not worth investing energy into this trial

In any sane country, this kid would be be guilty, but you have to remember we live in the United States which rewards protecting property. Like I said, it's not worth it

This is the correct take. Derek Chauvin slowly tortured a man to death on film and the only reason he faced any consequences whatsoever is because there were intense sustained protests across the entire country for months. You already know what the outcome of this case is going to be, don't try to fool yourself into thinking a fascist failed state is going to do anything to punish its newest poster child.

Yeah I was thinking yesterday about the guy that testified that he pointed a gun at Rittenhouse before being shot by him. This was after Rittenhouse had already shot 2 others I think.

Had he pulled the trigger, he would either have been killed that night by the cops or other Chuds, or would be getting the book thrown at him at trial.

Kyle Rittenhouse literally murdered people. He travelled across the country to get to murder people. He set out, deliberately, with the sole intention of getting to kill people. Why the fuck are you acting aloof about this? This is the right saying that they will murder you, and they will get away with it. They're telling you, to your face, that they will kill you. This is the moment where the conservatives sent the canes to Preston Brooks. It matters.

If you're black you've already known this since you were old enough to know what murder is.

I cannot stress how much of a total misdirection that statement is. Systematic racism does not make this less of a total miscarriage of justice. More than one thing can be bad.

No one's saying that it is just. It's just that if every great injustice incites you to rage, you will feel nothing but rage at any given moment. I don't have that kind of energy. It is difficult to get angry at one or two murders when the mass shootings and school shootings are so mundane that the news doesn't even report them anymore.

Every great injustice SHOULD make you rage. And in this case the world is telling you that they will murder you. Murder is justified against you and yours. They are declaring open season on you, and rather than reacting appropriately we're just pretending we're too fucking cool to care about that.

That's a dumb fucking take, and you should frankly be ashamed of it.

rather than reacting appropriately we’re just pretending we’re too fucking cool to care about that.

The appropriate reaction is to organize a popular movement of communists to overthrow the government, and that hasn't changed for the past 100 years. Rage is pointless and exhausting. Being angry isn't going to change a thing.

                  :bloomer:

Now on one hand we have every single communist in world history saying that anger is good and matters, caring is good and that we can't afford to give up on a single thing. On the other hand we have the internet poster who thinks it's lame to care.

very sincerely wondering why we don't just start capping judges and other officials who orchestrate and enable these farces, they have no security, it would be easy

everybody other than the president is easy to kill

Because we all know that taking out the bad judges and bad officers would change everything! It's not like this shit is built into the fabric of the United States

This is the correct take. I'm reminded of that Emma Goldman quote where she opposes assassinating a president because they would simply be replaced with an identical capitalist goon. Removing bad officials (by any means, including peacefully) means nothing without fundamentally changing who is allowed to take up that post.

The last time this happened that group that did proof of the deed got shut down hard and capitalists put an identical if even more cruel person in place to deal with the rising anarchist threat. The correct answer is to build enough power you can tip the scale so when through mass action those people dont have the standing to get back on their feet when power is finally seized.

I think the idea would be to intimidate cops and judges into being less bad, rather than to replace bad people with good people

Because random acts of terror are actively counterproductive and literally the single most effective tactic of police spies in leftist movements is encouraging groups to do violence (or encouraging groups to split over disagreements about whether to do violence or not), thus giving the feds a free casus belli

Because another ghoul would just replace them. For example, assassinating Hendrik Verwoerd was cool and good, but it did basically nothing to stop apartheid in the long run.
