Spent my youth hanging out around Communists and Socialists. Allow me to share the most neat trick I learned.

Tag them for their opinions of Kings and Monarchy first, they will vehemently reject it - because that is build in to Marxism.

Then make them defend ''Dictatorship of the Proletariat''. Because you need to assume total control to create the full-on Communist transition.

Watch them squirm as they have to defend appointing a ''King of the State'' to make the transition happen. It is hilarious how uncomfortable they become in their own skin."

This person has definitely met a communist before.

Nothing is more wholly frustrating that people who are completely convinced they perfectly understand Marx while clearly not having read or absorbed any of it. Then thinking that it's okay to be adamantly ignorant because they feel Marxists don't understand capitalism at all, or their specific worldview involving capitalism. When really understanding the average internet dweeb's idea of capitalism is so much easier than truly comprehending the complete set of Marx's works. And even if you only understand a little bit of Marx it's so apparent that everyone who makes hay by criticizing him has no understanding at all. Memes have completely replaced epistemology for so many people.

We're talking about AnCaps. They haven't even understood that capitalism thing that they love so much, i don't expect them to have an understanding of anything besides the difference between a fedora and a trilby.

Oh wow how did i not REALIZE. of COURSE the Dictatorship of the Proletariat is just another terrible despotic state force, GOD how could I have been so STUPID. I should have just read more wikipedia articles and drawn the wrong conclusions because I haven't picked up a book that wasn't a coloring book in all 32 years I've been alive. THANK YOU, /r/TheSelfGoverned, THANK YOU.

Now, a quick question: Why am I paying even the slightest bit of attention to a person who tagged themselves "Anarcho-Monarchist"

"The issue with communists is they buy into whatever fairy tales the ruling class tells them, with religious fervor." Ah yes, the famously communist ruling class of the capitalist world

If the wealth goes to the wealthy, it's disingenuous or downright ignorant to claim that labor == means of production.

Libertarians without the pretense. Libertarians try to make it sound like they want an anarchist-like utopian society, ancaps are pretty open about wanting a society which is as brutal as possible to some people.

Although maybe ancaps are just libertarians who hate that the term got watered down by small government conservatives.

Self-described libertarians tend to be minarchist/constitutionalist types. Ancaps are essentially feudalists.

It's so easy to turn this around into:

If the machines are all that create value, why do companies keep going to the trouble of hiring all those workers?

Created with and created by are the exact same thing, of course.

Not knowing basic grammar doesn't make you smarter than Marx. Someone tell them that

No, this isn't even about grammar. Marx called machinery "dead labor" because it was the labour of previous workers made solid. This "owning" admits to having never read Marx.
