Got a severe vitamin D (the actual vitamin, not euphemism) deficiency back in college. Nearly ended up in the hospital. Not pleasant in the slightest. Vitamin D is used to transport calcium into cells. Calcium is used in muscle tissue, among other things. So, with muscles being unable to contract, unfortunate things happen, like the GI tract stopping. 0/10 - Do not recommend.
This happened to someone I know. It was Potassium and he was about to die from a deficiency caused by a genetic problem (he needed extra).
