this site is doing pretty good actually, theres always new posts. There aren't hundreds up upvotes per post like there was on launch day but thats ok. it's still growing and as federation comes out even more people will come over to this site. This is only the beginning of chapo chats story.
Lemmy instances will be capable of connecting with each other, like Mastodon or Peertube do currently. Users from one instance will be able to subscribe to communities and comment on posts from another. The feature is currently under development though.
