The whole "this is Russian propaganda" talking point actually was created by apartheid South Africa, they would unironically say that race mixing = communism (yes that was the actual law at the time), and that any criticism of apartheid was KGB propaganda to make white people look bad.

Apartheid happened in South Africa (not in "Israel", not in the US) and it was bad. But then Nelson Mandela said "Don't do a violence, let's all be nice to each other instead" and then the apartheid regime realised they had been defeated in the marketplace of ideas and apartheid stopped and everything was fine after that.
