2,300 deaths? My goodness! If something were to cause the deaths of 2,300 Americans in a single day, we ought to be taking it very seriously

Yeah but certain liberals seem to think that means China is committing a pearl harbor every day

I have a feeling this is going to be a wipeout Winter in districts that elected antivaxxer reps, but the rest of us will hum along just fine.

Strange how politicized a response to a deadly disease can become.

Just be glad some of the crazy Cold War Projects the DOD was dreaming up never were built.

Project Plowshare , if it had continued, had plans on building inland hardened ports across the United States using nukes to remove the soil/rock/cities in the way.

Do people still actually think Pearl harbor is some unforgivable treachery for being a sneak attack, even though The Japanese transmitted the 14-part message, and people starting wars always try to go in strong, and overwhelm the defenders while they're disorganized. The United states doesn't declare war anymore at all, but how much time do they give before the first notice of hostilities and the bombs landings?
