“Spook” We’ve gone over this so many times and yet y’all still refuse to change.
It’s the only leftist site with actual engagement in the fediverse. Some good articles and memes get posted here. Trying to stop racism on a site I enjoy going to is a good thing.
You’re making a you exist in society argument and then calling me a loser for calling out racism and then telling me well if I don’t like racism why don’t I just leave. How about y’all stop being racist. And yes ask the site admins if any of them are black, they’ll tell you. Representation matters. We have trans site mods and it helps to reduce the amount of transphobia that stays up on the site.
Q: What do you think is the biggest threat to America national security in the coming years? Russia climate change Iran North Korea or something else?
A: Block-chain technology. No joke. Super powerful stuff, and the first one to figure out how to hack it, manipulate it or bring it down wins.
Bigger than climate change or nukes or all the moustache twirling villains. And he's not even directly shilling any crypto currency from what I can see. Broken epic Tesla brain or does the agency push blockchain this hard?
And what would actually happen if somebody managed to hack blockchain, say, tomorrow?
I wish regular people knew more about cognitive bias. The human brain actually works so efficiently that it skips steps in reasoning. We rely on our brains so much, and trust our judgement almost without question. But when spies learn about the flawed nature of our own thinking, it literally changes the way we view our world. We start to question everything - especially our own thinking - and become focused on objective facts. Once that happens, the whole world starts to make sense. And we find ourselves in total control of our environment. I want everyone to know that feeling. Its a big part of why I offer the course OPTHINK on [shill link]
How to brainwash yourself to be more evil more efficiently. Influencer culture and successwin mindset culture and all the online grift cultures feel bad and poisonous and bleak to me; but commodifying and selling moral decay this directly is on another level.
Cuban Intel is excellent - look at the Anna Montes case.
Please do look at the Ana Montes case, and how the US has been torturing her for 20 years with solitary confinement
( different thread )No, you are never really out. Service is for life.
duh
A couple decades back he would have gone into advertising or something like that, to pull the old media's strings. Now he has to try to be a cool approachable success mindset influencer, for the CIA

Climate change doesn't challenge the dollar's hegemony. Blockchain tech does - at the very least, it makes sanctions pretty much useless.
I don't see how it makes sanctions useless if you can't buy actual stuff with your bitcoins -- you still have to transport goods and services in the real world, which is where the sanctions are applied. You can already dodge the dollar and the international banking system if you pay in gold, drugs or just some other currency, bitcoin is less secure than that
It's about money transfer. It doesn't matter if you can buy things directly with Bitcoin, it's that you can pay someone cash for Bitcoin, take your wallet somewhere else (say to a bad country like Russia or Iran) and sell it there without having to interact with the American banking system. Bitcoin is far less risky than gold or drugs - theoretically you could just memorize your seed phrase and not have to carry anything at all on you vs. the physical burden of gold or drugs. They don't care about you doing whatever with your dollars really, they care about not being able to sanction Russian companies or other states the US might set its sights on.
That's nice if you're a person or group trying to launder money, but I still don't see how it would help Iran or Russia or Cuba dodge sanctions? How would Cuba buy syringes with bitcoin?
Only thing I could think of is that it allows the accumulating of enough wealth, while dodging the obvious hardships that comes with trying to run gold or other shit, to allow sanctioned countries to purchase not just needed supplies but also the infrastructure and defenses to move those supplies. As in building or purchasing your own barges and navy to move goods to and from your country.
Obviously that's both far out in terms of planning, implementation, and reality. But it's a possibility at least.
Good news, legally it's probably not solitary confinement because they put her in a prison psych ward for no stated reason! No human rights org has touched this with a ten foot pole, naturally. Journalists are not allowed to visit her, and don't care.
...maybe don't look too deeply into this case if you're not feeling alright.
“Can there be a democratically elected socialist government? Real question.”
Dick head, the National Security Act passed in 1947. You stole the election from the communists in Italy in 1948. Quite possibly the first successful CIA mission was preventing a democratically elected socialist government from taking power.
He says “Never trust a quiet person.” giving people some bad advice here. Always listen to the propaganda, but be needlessly suspicious of people with nothing to say?
This is excellent advice fwiw. The intelligence community is full of dorks, so they tend to shut up to avoid revealing their outsider status in "radical" groups (how many fucking Mormons and Aggies do you think could show up at a Leftist meeting and 'get' the culture?)
Being the quiet person is also great advice for when you want to gather information or get in with a group. It's hard to fuck things up when you don't open your mouth. A few pleasantries and the occassional bon mot, a somewhat flattering question here and there that demonstrates interest in a person and ta-da, you're all right. I've never infiltrated an organization, but it works quite well for crashing parties.
real Former CIA agents are in prison (or maybe in exile in Moscow)
That's not fair, some of them have gotten out of prison, e.g. John Kiriakou.
That's a weird guy I forgot about. Was he a whistleblower who also was a habitual liar? Or was he a limited hangout op who said too much? We may never know
Idk, I listened to Loud and Clear for a while but there was an episode when he kept defending the Mujahideen which was very weird so I had to quit.
I think he does genuinely understand that the CIA is bad now, but has some residual brain worms. I did still have to quit listening after that though lol
he says China is the “biggest strategic threat” to the USA
[Jpg of red colored map of china with a smug grinning face looking down]
China, Iran, and DPRK have consistent policy goals and remain mostly isolationist except for trade in China's case and publishing war propaganda in DPRK's case.
At no point have any of them had massive shifts in foreign policy goals like the US and UK
You don't get it. The hegemony is America to these people. It's been shown a zillion times they don't give a flying fuck about the land or its inhabitants.
The reason they fight for white supremacy at the cost of everything else is because that's their true endgoal. Everything else is secondary.
i've believed most "social, ethic, religious, blah blah" so called conspiracies were just stuff like that so it comes across as outsized. people network, people already in a group network within group, to some seems like group controls x when in reality it's just a loose association
we must destroy an entire country because they still know how to build shit (and we can't abide such things)
The smartass redditor flippancy he has with regard to the awful shit they do makes me enjoy knowing these creeps are being rooted out and snuffed in China and Russia.
He says “Never trust a quiet person.” giving people some bad advice here. Always listen to the propaganda, but be needlessly suspicious of people with nothing to say?
That's pretty easy, never putting yourself out there allows other people to make assumptions about you.
Once you understand the assumptions they've made, you've effectively controlled reality (a little bit).
When I work around people, I do this all the time. It allows me to get away with a TON of shit that I shouldn't be allowed to get away with because people just assumed I knew what I was doing or that I was completely ignorant.
I have a habit of never fucking shutting up while also never saying anything of importance. This has caused me to accidentally infiltrate multiple evil groups because not only does nobody suspect me, they think I'm on their side. Think of it like a passive ability that I can't control. The only way around it is to just flat out tell people I'm an anarchist right out of the gate, or else I find myself at the center of yet another giant conspiracy. Better to slightly disappoint them than have to break their hearts later on.
