American cops are depicted with those PR videos of them acting with kids and going to pride parade while the Russians are all punching people and shit, with the implicit message that American cops are too nice unlike the hardcore Russians.

Which is sorta funny, Russian police tend to be somewhat alright on the day-to-day but are fucking ruthless when they do go off the handle. American police on the other hand tend to default to flying off the handle period
