Also love how quickly and easily the headlines can call this murder. Body camera footage got out okay. No need for a grand jury. No journalistic integrity issues.
I would personally say "officer killed in suspect-involved shooting".
Some cop who was killed responding to a domestic incident. But make no mistake, if you look at the eulogies and what they were saying, this is not a celebration of his life, this funeral is a threat. They're saying "do not hold us accountable".
We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA, I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now.

From what I could gather from a quick search, they are threatening him because he said he would not push for pre-trial detention for non-violent crimes.

The MO for cops who have half-decent DAs is to go on a soft strike, where they still go to work, still get paid, but don't really respond to anything, and then blame the DA for being soft on crime when more and more violent criminals don't get caught. The same thing is happening in Philadelphia with DA Krasner.
