I was browsing r/socialistRA the other day and there was a thread about the Ukraine situation. The general consensus seemed to be for US intervention if Russia invaded Ukraine because, in their view, a US occupation of Ukraine would be better for the workers of Ukraine than a Russian occupation.
Even ignoring what a poorly constructed take that is, you can’t help a people who are dead by nuclear holocaust. The only sane take is one of non intervention. The US/NATO has no place playing at world policing.

Any Russian ‘invasion’ would be backing up the separatist forces in LPR and DPR. It wouldn’t be extending to all of Eastern Ukraine.
The (majority ethnic Russian) populations there are better off with Russia than a neo-nazi backed Ukraine.
