That just means line must go up even faster because the line and its first and second derivative lines must always go up. Record profits only mean investor expectations for more record profits.

Thinking about just building a plex server with kids content at this point. RD flawlessly handles the rest

My seedbox works by default with Plex and it's great. I just put in the torrent I want to watch and boom after downloading, it's available to watch. Got like 700 episodes of One Piece dual audio for my mother to watch on the living room TV in probably 3 minutes of effort.

The full video file needs to be downloaded, but if you prioritize the first episode or two on a healthy torrent it can take <30 seconds.

Cool. I just realized I can use RD as a torrent downloader. So I don’t even need a vpn. I have all my stuff coming in for a plex server to only serve kids shows, then it’s bye bye Netflix and Prime

Honestly it’s not even the price hikes that are doing it, although they are annoying, is that these greedy fucks are moving hard to bring ads back to TV and for some reason people don’t seem to care. Netflix cheaper ad tier had record subscribers. So it’s only a matter of time before the ad free tiers go away imo.

After 10+ years of tv with no ads I fucking refuse to go back to that.

Remember when Netflix started cracking down on password sharing and Disney posted about how much they love password sharing?

No one should ever pay for these streaming services. And you should shame your friends that do. We don't need new Disney shows, we don't need live action avatar shows. There is plenty of slop for us to survive off of for a long time. TV is a dying medium anyway. There are some YouTubers that produce better slop for cheaper.

Stop paying for their shit. Make them lose money.

this is just capitalism, enshitification will be when Disney's proprietary AI starts eating itself and makes its services unusable due to digital detritus and bad results getting in your way, or whatever

This makes the product worse in order to increase profits, which is exactly what enshittification is.
