    Damn, the UV isn't scattered by going through more atmosphere like the other wave lengths are? That seems really counterintuitive to me as my anecdotal experience tells me I've never been sunburned in the last hour before sunset or the first hour after sunrise. But if that's what the data says it's what the data says.

    That said, it shouldn't be any worse for you than tanning is, so long as you don't do it for more than maybe half an hour at a time, right?

        That's true, but if that's a socially acceptable and sane thing to.... I have no idea why I'm on the hill of defending asshole sunning and I'm going to step off of it before I accidentally die on it.

          Haha yeah as far as social acceptance goes IDGAF if people want to "sun their assholes" I'm just saying it's going to come with health risks

      The longer the lights’ path through the atmosphere, the less intense the UV. So you were right, but like anything, all the specific details matter.
