OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A U.S. House candidate in Oklahoma has apologized after reports that she became intoxicated at a Valentine’s Day weekend sleepover for middle-school-aged girls, berated several of the children and vomited in a hamper.
Democrat Abby Broyles, 32, told television station KFOR that she had an adverse reaction after drinking wine and taking sleep medication given to her by a friend.
This reads like she was attending a middle school sleepover lol.

Not so much your headline, but the articles headline too. In the article its a few paragraphs down that it was a friend of hers kids sleepover that her own daughter went to lol. Just thought it was funny that it wasn't clear.

had a relative that is this really calm and quiet guy and he had something weird going on like low blood sugar then he showed up to a party and got wasted. he, for whatever reason, absolutely hulked out and started doing insane shit like smashing his forehead through windows (sometimes successfully)

Yeah, I've had some gnarly panic attacks smoking weed that made my drunken nights look like sober ones. Only time I've ever ended up in the ER was during a panic attack I had after smoking too much.
Then again, alcohol is almost always something that ends in a hangover and a bad morning after whereas weed only occasionally does.
I mean like binge drinking type nights lol, those will give you hangovers. I've just never had any sort of anxiety stuff happen while drinking, but with weed I sometimes just get this really intense othering where I feel like wherever I am is where I don't belong and that can cascade into a huge anxiety or panic attack.
