I am so fucking scared. If they will do this to children they will be willing to do anything to adults.

it's so incredibly ghoulish. the cruelty is the point for these absolute monsters. when i realized i was trans, i literally spent hours crying for the girl i could never be. all i could hope for was for other people to grow up in a more enlightened time that would give them the care they need, let them be who they are, let them live the life they deserve. and then there's these parents out there, who do the right thing, who finally have the means to provide their children the care they need and deserve, who can spare their kids the irrepairable damage that comes from having to go through the wrong puberty, and they literally get hunted down for not being hateful, bigotted monsters harming their own children, get slandered in ways i cannot repeat here without seething.

        You are loved, sister :cat-trans:

I have been incredibly lucky in my transition, so I'll try to live it for the both of us

thank you so much, sis! :transshork-happy: i'll see how my transition goes, i already know that any little bit helps, that even the baby steps i'm taking every day take a massive weight off my shoulder, that even the harm that's already done is not the worst hand i could have been dealt and i'm thankful for that. cisnormativity has forced me to live my best years under a veil of ignorance, but the entire rest of my life will be mine. i just want to spare other trans people the losses i had to endure. the dysphoria, the wasted years, the unfulfilled potential. today's kids already have such a burden on their shoulder from what previous generations have done to this planet, to this society, i just wish they could at least be themselves when they're playing in the wasteland that america is becoming. this is truly heartbreaking.

Please find community and some support if you can. You might never cis-pass but most trans people don't. HRT and living as your true self, regardless of your body can cause a huge positive shift in your life. Being around other trans people who have decided to live can make things seem possible that didn't seem possible before.

You are loved, I don't want to lose another sister.

nah, not right now. presumably the site administration would rather not get an FBI investigation if someone here actually pulls a :william-van-spronsen:, but it's not a real concern.

the greater worry is that as the necessity of political violence becomes clearer, open incitement on public fora becomes a very easy way for :fedposting: to entrap people who are disconnected from any wider movement.

Honestly, I can never tell. Sometimes people seem to be like "we shouldnt joke about that" but then sometimes people are like "hell yeah lets [do explicitly violent thing]"

Hopefully there will come a day where the people behind this will be the ones that fear for their safety

Trans people should flee Texas as soon as possible. At least they should arm themselves and form self-defence groups.

Trans people are already vulnerable. Cis white supporters should arm for their defense if needed.

Even that should be taken carefully, in many cases a rifle isn't needed to disrupt these efforts and it's wasteful to lose people.

Networks must be formed, sympathetic doctors found, and ways of getting drugs and other treatments into trans children's hands provided. We've done it before, getting anti AIDS drugs into people's hands in the 80s.

Meanwhile people who cant rusk their necks should make very, very loud noises. Outside every courtroom, outside every place a child is taken.

We can make it impossible to enforce this law unless they want to shoot white protesters dead in suburban streets weekly.

Which they might well be, but I don't think they have the nerve yet.

Iran is also better on the treatment of CIA agents and other agents of destruction.

no pit or wall. just force fem/bimbofi a certain governor and leave them in a plastic cube the rest of their life to suffer dysphoria and for the people to witness it at their leisure
