ToEE wasn't that great, but VtM:B and Arcanum are easily among the most memorable games I've played.
Important tip for anybody in this thread who hasn't played VTM yet. NEVER pick Nosferatu for a first playthrough. Great way to ruin the game for yourself
The situation with dE always kind of reminded me of Night in The Woods' long-term issues. (Still, Benson turned up on QAA recently so it sounds like his health may be improving?)

Yesterday it was announced ZA/UM has fired nearly half their staff, including the last person connected to Disco Elysium. They also cancelled their DE expansion and another project. It's now a hollow shell of what it was.
Really sad to see that, I hoped for a sequel and a development for the universe, looks like it was sabotaged and shot in the leg.
On top of that, the Disco Elysium sequel was cancelled back in 2022, the only project that was "paused" and not flat out cancelled was a standalone sci fi IP.
