    Wait wait wait.

Number of times someone stole more than $50,000 from me: 5-7 times

Way to let everyone know you're an easy mark :lenin-laugh:

Number of full days of vacation, no work, I have taken in the past 33 years. 5 or so.

    :doubt:

This dude is on that CEO time accounting system where if you even mentally engage with a work problem at any point you count the entire day as worked. Dude's been a full time cartoonist for 26 of those 33 years lol.

I'll sometimes lose sleep when I'm stuck on a work problem, but I imagine if I billed my company for that I'd get disciplined instantly.

This is true, but also you should be allowed to bill for that. On a similar note, I should be able to clock in the moment my alarm wakes me up and only clock out when my feet stop hurting the next day. But I'll accept the compromise of clocking out when I'm home and undressed :meow-shining:

Most cartoonists pound out a few weeks of strips in a couple days at least, unless it's a really topical strip.

Jim Davis creates centuries worth of Garfield, probably in a few days. He would be in very poor health if it was that intensive. And Garfield has way more effort put into it than dilbut 1990-today.

    Things this guy sucks at:

    1.Driving

    2.Security

    3.Looking after his health

    4.Not being a tool

    5.Being a decent person

    6.Anything I missed

I have a family member like this, the kind that refused to take time off or keep tabs on his health. Sure, he was fine until he reached his mid 60s and now his body is falling apart and his family contantly have to worry if he's okay because he'll lie about being healthy and refuses to stop working even though he's rich and has a TON of paid leave he could take. These guys who play stoic are so frustrating because they think they're being strong for their family but really they cause everyone a lot of grief when they get sick from things they could have prevented by having regular check ups instead if pretending to be strong.

It's just ego at the end of the day.

Yeah I was gonna ask how that's even possible

I'm betting he means something fucky like fraud or someone working for him embezzled something

Once in his youth Scott Adams wronged a powerful sorceress who cursed him to have a gun pointed at his head, his garage burgled and a significant amount of money stolen every time he takes a day off.

He must live in the Murder She Wrote Town

(The town where Murder She Wrote takes place was really small but they had weekly murders. I remember someone did a calculation that showed if it was real, it would be the most violent city per capita in the world).

Cabot Cove, Maine: a town full of history, quaint neighbors, and an unparalleled homicide rate.

There is NO WAY Scott Adams lives somewhere that dangerous. I know people who have lived in the mean streets all their life who haven't had that many crimes against them.

People on the streets probably aren't as tempting of targets because if they were this stupid they'd already be dead, or at least have nothing. If you are rich but also so stupid that you never avoid dangerous situations or learn from past mistakes, probably wouldn't be too hard to get a crime high score. I'd also guess it's a better idea to rob but not kill a rich person because the cops will work harder to solve their death.
