Good video on cognitive dissonance
Also:
october 7th was a horrific terrorist attack

october 7th was a horrific terrorist attack
Why would this even come up in the video? Can libs seriously shut the fuck up
It was in the context of nonsensical accusation, that MSF is hamas, that was used as an example
Besides being a her videos have been feeling kinda unfocused and scattershot lately, with way more focus on bits and costumes than good argumentation. I'm actually less anti-bits-n-costumes in edutainment than most here but even for me it's getting to be a bit much.
Honestly feels like she still doing YT just as a means to promote her acting career, which, whatevs, we all gotta hustle, especially those of us who want to be actors
The part about phantasms was very interesting but eveything leading up to it was unnecessary
If she's gonna hustle, she should hustle for better projects. Her big project is a short film directed by someone whose other credits includes ads and youtube scams (actual scams, "Buy my brain tonic/video courses" type scams)
I mostly just know she does some stage shit in London, idk the quality of it
She did a play called "The Prince", which I don't know a lot about. The summary I heard, partially from Abigail herself, was that it was Hamlet but Hamlet finds out he's in a play halfway through. I haven't watched it, since it was only available as a stage performance or on nebula. That was her last big project that she would try to sell people on.
Her newest project is short film called Dracula's Ex-Girlfriend which is a short film (Not a play).Edited out some criticism, it wasn't necessary.
Sorry, I don’t care how good the rest of the video is, casual denigration of resistance to genocide is an immediate turnoff. Also I’ve had enough of these infrastructure influencers
I wish she'd make these videos less about herself, I dont need to know or care about her vanity projects and future career. I dont like the spoiled little rich kid energy one bit.
But I actually managed to listen to the whole thing, first one of her videos I've made it through for ages.
Yeeaaaah. Both contrapoints and philosophy tube really leaned into self indulgence the moment that they came out.
In one of Philosophy Tube's videos, before she came out, she dressed herself up as a shirtless demon wearing a crown and a live snake to talk about Jordan Peterson, so let's not pretend the indulgence started after coming out.
I feel similar about Hbomb doing long videos about fixations like the oof sound. At a certain points the brand becomes bigger than the video subject. If the views come regardless they just follow whatever whim into a video essay or turn it into a vlog.
I earnestly, just this very moment, learned that Philosophy Tube and ContraPoints aren't the same woman doing bits for an hour for their 10 minutes of content.
njb is terminally lib and shills conservative think tanks such as strong towns
philosophytube took money from the royal institutionNJB makes good points about how infrastructure can be changed to be better and gives good examples of that happening, but his solution to bad infrastructure is straight up "just move"
I remember him saying Americans should just give up on making their cities better because he did. I'm sorry we can't all live in Amsterdam or wherever, but what the fuck kind of activist tells people to give up?
He's not an activist he's a lib with good opinions about transport and cities.
There are a number of libs with good opinions and good editing skills in that field. I'd rather watch one that actually believes good things are possible in the places that need help the most, if for no other reason than that car emissions in the US fuck things up in Prague too
big fan of her videos, this looks cool
also the cowboy costume is pretty nice i think
is anyone else really tired of urban planning videos? they were cool for a year or so when the topic was new to everyone, now there's thousands of people making the exact same videos about induced demand, bike lanes, etc.
Yes. I started on the topic by reading strong towns articles, moved on to YouTube. Read a few books. I feel like I've learned all I need to on the broad strokes of the topic and unsubbed from Not Just Bikes.
I do still follow Alan Fisher though because he covers specific projects and gives calls to action.
I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
