If you follow Steph Sterling and their continued efforts to smash the games industries evils and capitalism in general... I don't know how you'd think they would like Musk.

I mean I don't know how people like Musk in general. But Steph Sterling liking him? Come-on.

It really does baffle me. 10yrs ago you maybe could of watched Steph talk shit about a asset flip and missed their anti corporate stance. But now? Seen Any recent jimq and it's clear they've moved even further left. It's not even a little hidden.

      They literally chokeslame Tories.

Of course we see this everywhere. Squid game is just like communism. The Matrix... Take the red pill and become a Nazi... And so on

Anything we like is clearly right wing, anything we don't is communism (never mind the actual dialogue and the actual story).

Last night I read some people on steam talking about how disco elysium clearly condemns communism bc “it doesn’t work in disco elysium just like in real life”

That’s what you get for reading Steam discussions tbh

r/DiscoElysium is surprisingly good at bullying libs though

I was looking for the quote from the communist vision quest and it showed up in the search results and I’m not one to turn my nose up at slop

My best guess in this regard is it's gaslighting by someone who isn't even a fan. The right wing anti-sjw channels are more likely to shift their politics if enough of their fans tell them their current 'politics' are making them angry, so they tend to assume the same applies to the left (although it does often apply to liberals).

True. Which is just hilarious because Sterling tells people like that to fuck off all the time. Seemed to lose all patience for it when they came out and lost subs for it

This is the staw the make them realize that Sterling anti capitalist? Not Sterling going full hog with radical anticapitalism in all of their videos in the past couple years?

    Gamers are not sapient.

Every episode they're like "I fucking hate capitalism, it has poisoned everything and not even games are fun any more due to its insistence on constant growth"

      :is-this: "Is this a pro-billionaire YouTuber?"

Half their videos are literally “ayo fuck this billionaire here in particular” and pointing at Bobby kotick or whoever else

Yeah but you see Elon isn’t a Billionaire. He’s just a billionaire. One of the good ones, if you will

I don’t watch their videos very often, but the last one I watched included them getting genuinely upset about how capitalism has completely ruined video games, a thing they really care about

Ya exactly. See any recent video and the contempt for capitalism is palpable. Usually through the frame of video games because that's their topic but it doesn't stop there.

But Elon is just so le epic he's not capitalism just because big money. He is cool and good actually. Some people are just deluded

"$45 Billion dollars was wasted to turn what is already a predominately fascists platform into even more of a fascist circlejerk. Elon Musk could have solved another problem and be hailed as a hero."

That's disappointing, your opinion is wrong because I deem you to be a LOSER! Only the best of the best should be allowed to have opinions but let me tell you why leftists are the group of coastal elites!

Both I think. Jim was what they went by before coming out but they still use it along with Stephanie/Steph as well as James. Or just the full thing James Stephanie Sterling.
