It's like DwarfFortress being in beta for almost 20 years. Newtypes are still getting updates from developers.
im definitely in alpha myself, some crucial features are still missing
I think I'm in closed alpha, seem to somehow exist in a quantum superposition of both inside and outside the eggshell
