Mix it. Some people mix kefir with carbonated water, I guess its kinda like that. It does taste better than youd think, but its definitely an aquired taste.

I’m Turkish. This is actually really refreshing in the summer, especially if you add a little bit of lemon juice. Imagine like a slightly creamier mint lemonade

This is delicious but not as good as Ayran which is basically salty frothy skim milk textured yogurt. Yum.

Sour cream goes in all sorts of cakes, but yeah it's kind of a double-take when you first hear that description.

Yeah, but isn't that part of the discourse. People, who are probably aware of their white privilege, still tap into it hard and may learn something. 1. A US centric view is mostly bullshit and 2. Maybe I'm still a bit too racist

Discovering Ayran in the local kebab places was a revelation. Why would I want to drink a salty yo..... Oh.

      Great hangover drink too.

This is Dough (Dookh) . It's an Iranian drink. It's not ayran, that's Turkish (which is written completely different) and is non carbonated. Don't mix it, it comes the way it should be consumed. Sometimes it's mixed with some herbs, like this mint one. Shake it before you put it in the fridge, than you only have to shake a bit when you want to drink it. It might taste strange at first but many people, outside Iran, love it. In Iran it's basically mandatory to like it .

Gonna be honest. Looked pretty cursed until I saw that it said "Mint" flavor.

    I will try anything minty.

Holy shit, that looks bad. The yogurt just clumped up on the bottom there, everything about this is wrong.

    Death to AmeriKKKa.
