"Trust nobody, they all cunts" is a perfectly acceptable line to take on the China debate.

Edit: TALKING ABOUT THE MEDIA. THE BIT ABOUT THE MEDIA. SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Feigning ignorance isn't an acceptable line on any topic.

I am ignorant on the topic of China. Instead of both-siding the discussion, I prefer not to say anything and keep learning silently.

That's fine. Just don't have a "take" on the topic you are ignorant on.

If the ignorant western Leftist take was "I don't know what's going on in China" coupled with opposing US imperialism, that would be great.

But the typical take I see is "I don't trust the global US empire nor those shrewd asiatics", while refusing to seriously investigate the conditions in China.

Yeah, that seems about right. Though I do find it okay to distrust the chinese government without strong evidence, so long as you don't have specific takes as you say.

Feels like victim-blaming when we're bankrolling terrorism abroad, then calling the people subject to the horror "untrustworthy cunts".

Feels like maybe the context is that we were talking about both the west and China having unreliable media? Nothing about the individuals on either end.

Bit of reading comprehension next time please?

This is the geopolitical equivalent of Trump/Biden's "There are bad people on both sides" bullshit. China isn't putting a fleet off the coast of Mexico and drumming up international angst about the concentration camps on the boarder (if they did, I'd totally support it though).

This is a one sided aggression.
